I do other physical activities. How does that impact my yoga practice and vice-versa?

One of the side effects of physical activities such as running are tight hips, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors etc. A regular yoga practice can fix all that. The beauty of yoga is that it can be practiced every day, in addition to your other athletic activities.

Practicing yoga in conjunction with sports allows you to remain physically active as you age because yoga keeps your body supple and prevents injuries. Power Vinyasa is the best fit for athletes as it promotes deep breathing and core cultivation, builds stamina and endurance, develops flexibility, and opens up hips and shoulders.

Yoga will also quiet the mind and teach you to be more centered and focused, improving your performance at golf, tennis and other focus-intensive activities (such as exam preparation).
