Doing yoga during pregnancy is a wonderful way for you to connect with your baby. Our prenatal yoga program was designed for women in all stages of pregnancy. Yoga can help you with the common discomforts of pregnancy, such as back pain, sciatica, leg cramps, and neck and shoulder tension. We blend in yoga poses that are safe and appropriate for pregnant women, breath work, meditation and relaxation with childbirth education to inspire you and help you develop strength, flexibility, courage, peace and harmony as you prepare for labor and the birth of your baby. In our prenatal classes we will show you how combining postures and breath can integrate mind, body and spirit, and give you the ability to respond in the moment, to be present and ready for whatever life brings you.
Our prenatal yoga instructors, Carina and Saiko, are highly skilled yoga teachers who have been educated in holistic birth and prenatal yoga by their mentor Colette Crawford - the leading prenatal yoga authority in the US, with 30 years of experience as a yoga teacher and women’s health nurse.
